I purchased a prop replica of a matchbook. But the cut of the matchbook is crooked. It’s not a huge deal but thought that this would be something that easily could be corrected. I sent a photo but have not heard back.

The ink on the matchbook smeared immediately! Ruined!

The writing on the movie prop is centered with a decent margin between the ends and the writing. The images of the prop show the same proportions to the movie screenshot but they sent a matchbook that has a larger font than the original and is shorter than a real matchbook so the result is larger writing that goes nearly to the ends. Since it is shorter they send only 10 strike matches. If they refused to make a 30 strike size then they should have done 20 strike so at least it would be sized like a real matchbook. It is sized like no matchbook in existence so looks ridiculous. Moreover, instead of the striker being glued to the front it is glued to the back. I specifically asked for them not to attach a striker if they were going to put it on the back but they ignored my message and did anyway. Worse still instead of attaching it to the back in the normal location of matchbooks (5/16" of an inch from the bottom) - it is exactly at the bottom so looks horrible and even more fake. I am showing it next to a real matchbook.
